Collingwood Council has
commissioned local artist John Haines to create a series of four interpretive panels that highlight the history of Collingwood and its residents. 

The panels are scheduled for completion in December of 2007. 

Upon unveiling, the
panels will be showcased at
various community sites
throughout 2008, before being permanently installed at a currently undecided location in 2009.


The panels content will be
divided in 50 year blocks.
The first panel will be
‘Pre-Collingwood’.
The second includes the years 1858-1908.
The third, 1908-1958.
The fourth, 1958 to 2008.
