Access Fair - Accessible Electronic Ballot Marker Demo

The Town of Collingwood’s Accessibility Advisory Committee is hosting its first Access Fair in front of the Town Hall Saturday, July 10 from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

The Clerk’s Department will be demonstrating the accessible electronic ballot marker to be used at the upcoming municipal election on October 25, 2010. The accessible electronic ballot marker is breakthrough ballot-marking technology that allows voters with disabilities and other special needs to mark a ballot privately and independently by providing various devises such as audio, sip and puff, foot paddles and a handle-held voting device.
