Oxfam Trailwalker is the world’s greatest team challenge! Oxfam Trailwalker Canada will be making its North American debut this summer along the Ganaraska Hiking Trail. The event, which encompasses a 100km hike over 48 hours in teams of 4, will take place on the weekend of July 24th – July 26th, 2009. Starting at the historic Fort Willow Depot in Springwater, Ontario hikers will trek 100km and end in Wasaga Beach along the shoreline of beautiful Georgian Bay, Ontario. This event is not only a physical challenge but also a fundraising challenge. Start: 07/24/2009

The market operates each Saturday morning in the heart of Collingwood’s historic downtown from the holiday weekend in May until Thanksgiving Weekend. It is located in the municipal parking lot at the corner of Second and Pine Streets and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Local vendors feature a wide range of organic vegetables and fruit, baking, meats and cheeses, flowers and trees, jams and preserves, handcrafted items and more.
