Town pleased with turbine appeal decision

16 August 2017 – The Town of Collingwood is pleased to announce that a decision has been issued in the appeal regarding the proposed wind turbines adjacent to the Collingwood Regional Airport.

Approval for the turbines was revoked on the basis that no effective mitigation was proposed to protect human health and safety.

Wakeboard in Collingwood Harbour during Sidelaunch Days

3 August 2017 – The third annual Sidelaunch Days Festival will mark the first time wakeboarders can enjoy the beautiful, protected part of the Collingwood harbour, with the new SideRider Cable Wakeboarding experience.

Media Release: The Mudmen return to Collingwood

10 July 2017 – Although the weather derailed their earlier attempt to perform in Collingwood, “The Mudmen” will return to Collingwood to play a makeup show during Sidelaunch Days on Sunday, August 13, at 7:00 p.m. The show will take place at the Amphitheatre, located at 2 North Maple Street.
