Helena Guergias and Collingwood Mayor Chris Carrier try out the driver's seat and meet passengers on one of Collingwood's new buses.  These buses were paid for in part with the funds from the Federal Government's Gas Tax.

Please be advised that the Town of Collingwood will be beginning Municipal Transit two hours earlier on Saturdays.  This new time will begin on Saturday, February 14th, 2009 at 7:00am.  In an effort to meet the needs of our loyal riders and in keeping with our Active Transportation Policies, we are extending the hours of operation on Saturdays by beginning operation at 7:00am.  This initiative has been put in place to help increase the level of service as well as to increase ridership. With a 37% ridership increase to 92,000 paid riders in 2008, the Town hopes to exceed over 100,000 riders in 2009.
