 The 4th Annual Collingwood Community Clean-up Day was held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 to help
keep Collingwood clean and beautiful. Friends, family, neighbours, teams, and schoolmates gathered on Earth Day
for a community-wide cleaning of Collingwood’s neighbourhood parks, trails, roads, schools, and public spaces.

Collingwood wins Bronze Bike Friendly Community Award

The Town of Collingwood is now one of twenty-seven of Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Communities in Ontario. 
In Southern Georgian Bay, one of the top cycling destinations in Ontario for cycling, Collingwood now connects other
Bicycle Friendly Communities in the region including the Town of Wasaga Beach and the Town of Blue Mountains.

was held at the public boat launch at the Collingwood Boat Launch on Sunday, March 19th. 
Proceeds raised from this event will benefit the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital

With your help, the Town of Collingwood could be the next Kraft Hockeyville,
which would include hosting an NHL® Pre‑Season Game and receiving $100,000 in arena upgrades
 
Voting is only open March 12 & 13th .
 
Share your passion for hockey and help Collingwood become the next Kraft Hockeyville
by logging onto the Kraft Hockeyville 2017 website (www.khv2017.ca) on March 12th and 13th
to vote for the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena.
 
If Collingwood wins, the money will help give the EBMA some much needed
accessibility upgrades and improvements to the dressing rooms.

Closing Games of the Elementary Schools' Curling Season

attended the last school curling session on Friday, March 10. 
With the help of 58 curling club volunteers, the Collingwood Curling Club hosted 258
grade seven and eight students from all five elementary schools in Collingwood this curling season.

Mayor Cooper presents Phillip Kelly with a Certificate of Recognition
 
Horatio Alger scholarships are awarded annually to deserving high school and CEGEP students
in financial need who have overcome significant adversity while demonstrating strength of character,
strong academics, a commitment to pursuing higher education as well as a desire to contribute to society.   
The winners include five recipients of the $10,000 Horatio Alger National Entrepreneurial Scholarships,
awarded to students who demonstrate a desire and ability to be entrepreneurial in a chosen field,
and 80 Horatio Alger Canadian Scholarships valued at $5,000 each.
 
Phillip is one of the recipients selected for the Horatio Alger National Entrepreneurial Scholarship.
