Flag and Proclamation Policy

The flag and proclamation policy provides standards to raising flags on Town property including procedures for raising and lowering flags, as well as a list of events for which the flag should be lowered to half-staff.
It also provides public awareness opportunities for various organizations to have their proclamations included on the municipal event calendar on the Town of Collingwood website and in a Council Agenda, and provides an opportunity to fly the organizations flag on the community flagstaff located in front of the Collingwood Public Library at 55 Ste. Marie Street.
