Part Lot Control By-law (Robertson Townhouses)

Summary: 

BEING A BY-LAW TO EXEMPT A PORTION OF LAND FROM THE PART LOT CONTROL PROVISIONS OF THE PLANNING ACT


 
WHEREAS subsection 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13, provides that the Council of a local municipality may, by by-law, designate lands not to be subject to part lot control;
 
AND WHEREAS it is intended that thirty-three (33) lots for townhouse dwelling units be created from portions of Lots 10 through 21 on Registered Plan No. 51M-945;
 
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Collingwood is satisfied thatthecreation ofthe thirty-three (33) townhouse lots;
 
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF COLLINGWOOD ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
 
1.    THAT subsection 50(5) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, shall cease to apply to Parts 1 to 62 of Plan 51R-40951, being Lots 10 to 20 and a portion of Lot 21 on Plan 51M-945, Town of Collingwood, County of Simcoe as shown on Schedule “A” affixed hereto.
 
2.    THAT the configuration of lot lines and parcels shall be in accordance with Plan 51R-40951. 
 
3.    THAT this by-law shall remain in force and effect for a period of two (2) years from the date of its passing and shall expire on May 29th, 2019.
