Wage range:             $60,644.76 to $73,687.43 per year ($33.32 to $40.49 per hour)
Hours of work:          Normal hours of work are thirty-five (35) hours per week, usually Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; flexibility in scheduling is necessary to attend occasional evening meetings, functions or events or work overtime as required.

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Budgets and Financial Planning, this newly created position provides analytical support for the development of capital budgets, forecasts and the maintenance of the Asset Management/ Fixed Asset database.  In addition, provides implementation and ongoing support for Town of Collingwood business applications consistent with the Town of Collingwood IT Master Plan Roadmap.
 
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, along with completion of or working towards a professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CGA; CPA, CMA; CPA, CA).
  2. Minimum of three (3) years experience with budgeting and TCA PSAB reporting in a municipal environment.
  3. Strong computer skills, namely entire Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Experience with Worktech or CityView applications preferred; experience with implementing finance-related software applications would be an asset.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, planning and organizational skills
  5. Sound technical capital asset accounting knowledge as we as background in the application of cost accounting techniques.
  6. Ability to work outside of normal business hours, travel within and outside the community as required.
  7. Valid Class G Driver’s License and reliable vehicle to use on corporate business.
  8. Possess Police Information Check with results satisfactory to the Town and a valid standard first aid with CPR / AED Level “C” certificate (or willing to obtain).
