Playing with Words: A Poetry Workshop

Come to the Collingwood Public Library for Playing With Words: A Poetry Playshop

Tuesday, May 15 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
FreeSchools World Literacy Room

Many of us have grown up with a lot of "creative can'ts" A big can't for many people is poetry. While the most common use of language is to communicate information or persuade, poetry is a way of playing with words to find creative ways to say more and say it more compactly and intensely. This "playshop" is an invitation to find a new way to appreciate poetry and discover the joys of writing poems yourself.

Free to attend; please register so we have enough handouts.
