  New Customer Service Enhancements

The Town of Collingwood Building Services is pleased to announce a number of customer service enhancements to help service you better!

E-Permit Services
You are now able to submit your building permit application electronically any time, from anywhere - no more rushing to the Building Services office. We have created pdf fillable forms and have added an electronic application service on our website. This will allow paperless submissions saving you time and money!
Email Inspection Requests
A lot of your business is conducted on your phone – you can now email your inspection requests by email to: Please remember to provide the owner’s name, the permit number, the site location, the requested inspection(s) and your desired timeframe (morning or afternoon).
Water Meters
For projects requiring a Town water meter, Building Services now accepts payments and issues the water meter extension kits at our service counter. This eliminates the requirement for you to go to three different Town locations!
e-XPRESS Permit Service
Currently under development, for minor permits that qualify, we will soon be able to issue same-day building permits!

Pre-Application Meetings
We now offer pre-application meetings where you can have the opportunity to meet with a Building Inspector at our office to review any questions that you may have before you submit your building permit application. Please contact us to schedule an appointment.
