Collingwood Community Clean-Up Day on Wednesday, April 17

Get involved, and help keep Collingwood clean, by taking part in the 6th annual Collingwood Community Clean-Up Day on Wednesday, April 17.

Gather friends, family, neighbours, teams, or schoolmates for a community wide cleaning of Collingwood’s neighbourhood parks, trails, roads, schools, and public places. Assemble a clean-up crew, identify an area that needs a quick tidy, and register your site at www.collingwood.ca/communitycleanup to receive supplies and garbage removal support.

If you don’t have a site in mind for your group, you can join members of Council and Town staff at Harbourview Park (behind McDonald’s) at 1:00 p.m. to help clean up the park. If you can’t make it out on April 17, clean-up initiatives are encouraged throughout Earth Week, and municipal staff will provide garbage removal services for all registered clean-ups.

Whatever public space you choose to tidy, join the #TrashTag challenge. Take a before and after photo of your site and post it using #TrashTag.

Collingwood Community Clean-Up Day is proudly presented by The Town of Collingwood, Collingwood Youth Centre, Environment Network, and Enbridge.
