Fence By-law 93-11

• Shrubs and Hedges used as fences shall be maintained at a height not in excess of heights specified for fences
• A fence of forty-two inches (42”) in height may be constructed within the front yard setback or along any lot. A fence having a maximum height of seven feet (7’) may be erected along the rear and side lot lines.
• If a property faces more than one street the maximum height of the fence shall not exceed forty-two inches (42”) on the sides facing the street.

All activities deemed to pose a danger or hazard and/or which may impede the free-flow of pedestrian traffic are prohibited on all sidewalks within the Town of Collingwood. Some exceptions include Special Events as approved by the municipality.
