STATEMENT OF INTEREST AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR

HERITAGE PARK – PHASE 1 - STAGE 3 –

WELLNESS CENTRE GENERAL CONTRACT

 

Interested contractors are asked to submit a Statement of Interest and Qualifications, CCDC 11 document of prequalification and any other relevant supporting documents in envelopes clearly marked as to contents, and will be received by the Town of Collingwood, Attention: Sara Almas - Clerk until 2:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, March 31^st, 2010 for the construction of the works described below.

 

The work to be provided includes the following items:

 

·   14,000 sq ft Wellness Centre

·   1 level wood frame construction

·   Slab on grade

·   Installation of parking lot

·   Installation of stormwater management facilities and associated services

·   Package roof-top HVAC systems

 

The Town will secure a pool Contractor for the installation of the therapy pool and hot tub separate from this tender. Works will be carried as an allowance to the successful general contractor. Prior to the execution of a Contract with the Town, the Bidder shall be required to provide to the Town a Performance Bond and a Labour and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total Tender Price (including GST). The full cost of such bonds shall be deemed to be included in the total Tender Price for the Contract.
