TOWN OF COLLINGWOOD NOTICE OF PASSING

PROHIBIT SMOKING IN PUBLIC PLACES & RIGHT OF ENTRY BY-LAWS

Take notice Council of the Town of Collingwood passed the following by-laws during its meeting held April 26, 2010.

Prohibiting Smoking in Public Places

By-law No. 2010-045, a by-law to prohibit smoking on all outdoor sidewalk patios/cafés located on the municipal sidewalk within the downtown core that is operated as part or in conjunction with or in affiliation with a restaurant, café and/or bar through the issuance of a patio licence.

By-law No. 2010-046, a by-law to prohibit smoking within nine (9) metres of any entrance or exit of any municipally owned or operated facility, excluding the area located within a municipal highway.

Right of Entry

By-law No. 2010-048, a by-law authorizing entry upon adjoining lands for the purpose of making repairs or alterations to existing buildings, fences or other structures.
