Garage Sale Signs: Sign By-law 05-03

A garage sale sign shall not exceed 0.6 meters in any dimension and shall not exceed 0.36 meters squared in sign area.

Garage sale signs are not to be placed before 5:00pm of the day immediately before the garage sale and all signs to be removed no later than 7:00am of the day immediately following garage sale.

A garage sale sign may be located in the untraveled portion of the street allowance but not in a manner so as to create a hazard.
Swimming Pools (over 18”) of water: By-law 91-42
All bodies of water over 18” are required to be fenced and secured.

Municipal Boulevards By-law 88-44
Property owners:

Are to maintain boulevards and shall cut and trim all grass or plants, shrubs, weeds, trees or vegetation.

Shall not make or construct on boulevard without the approval of Public Works or By-law Enforcement Department.

Shall not erect a fence or any other structure or obstruction on or around any boulevard.

Who alter, change or resurface an existing or new driveway require an entrance permit from the Public Works Department prior to work initiated.
Permits are available at Public Works Department at (705)445-1292 or (705)445-1351.
The Permit application process fee is $125.00.
*Applicable Fees or Penalties for violations may be applied if found in contravention to the By-laws.
