  • THAT the Airport Services Board minutes of March 12, 2014, the Collingwood Heritage Advisory Committee minutes of March 20, 2014 and the Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee minutes of March 19, 2014 be hereby received.
10. STAFF REPORTS
P2014-13 Application for a Tree Removal Permit (File # P11214) 7624 and 7618 Poplar Sd. Rd.

RECOMMENDING THAT Council supports granting a Tree Cutting Permit for the subject lands owned by QSR Holdings Inc., prior to site plan approval, with the following conditions attached:

- The installation of appropriate sedimentation and erosion control measures along the perimeter of the site;

-  Existing trees immediately adjacent to the internal eastern and northern property boundary of  the site will remain to provide a buffer; and,

-  An existing cedar hedge along the western property boundary of 7624 Hurontario Street will be identified as being outside the tree removal and stockpiling area.

PRC2014-06 Tall Ship Events 2014
 
RECOMMENDING THAT Council provides direction on the two tall ship hosting opportunities presented.
 
PRC2014-07 Tractor Purchase
 
RECOMMENDING THAT Council award the purchase of one (1) Kubota tractor to Earth Power Tractors and Equipment, Stayner, ON for the total purchase price of $52,500 plus applicable taxes.
 
11. MOTIONS
  • THAT Council appoint _____________ as the interim Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture.
12. BY-LAWS 
  • THAT By-law No. 2014-027, being a By-law to close a highway within the Town of Collingwood and authorize the sale of land through the execution of a Purchase and Sale Agreement, be enacted and passed this 7th day of April, 2014. (Per Staff Report C2014-02 presented to Council March 3, 2014)
  • THAT By-law No. 2014-028, being a by-law to establish Civic Addressing within the Town of Collingwood, be enacted and passed this 7th day of April, 2014. (Per Staff Report B2014-01 presented to Council March 17, 2014)
