In November 2015, the Town of Collingwood implemented a Community Engagement Strategy. The purpose of the Strategy is to ensure that the Town considers the community's willingness to be involved in and aware of the work that the Town is undertaking, and that the Town can look to the community for valuable input and assistance.

The annual budget is one of the most important and most complicated documents produced by a municipality. Have your say in how tax dollars are allocated each year during the annual budget process.
Waterfront Master Plan
The Community Based Strategic Plan (CBSP) was approved in September 2015 and identified Public Access to a Revitalized Waterfront as a key goal for the community. Council awarded the contract for the development of a Waterfront Master Plan to BrookMcIlroy Inc. at the January 18, 2016 Council meeting. Active Transportation Open House
The Town of Collingwood held an Open House on February 25th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Central Park Arena, 85 Paterson Street, to gather input and suggestions regarding the Town’s network of trails, sidewalks and roadside paths.
