The Official Plan density range for lands designated “Low Density” is 15-20 units per ha. The zoning by-law proposes a R2, Residential with holding (H6) to R3 Residential to enable the Draft Plan of Subdivision. The subject proposal falls within the permitted density range. The proposed subdivision plan also provides for a local public park space and a Stormwater Management facility. The Developer Lotco Limited held an informal information meeting for the adjoining residents on Feb 19th , 2020 at St. Mary’s School located at 18 Saunders Street, in the Town of Collingwood.
