Food Vendors

The Town of Collingwood is contuning with the lottery process for assigning food vendors requesting to be located on public property. Food vendors wishing to apply for a spot on public property should apply by Saturday, April 1, 2023 . Vendors must self select a general food category from the provided list and may rank up to three pre-selected public property locations. Should more than one application from the same general food category (or categories) be received for the same public location then a lottery would be conducted from those applications. The winner of those lotteries and all other applications for the same location will be entered into a lottery with the winner(s) drawn at random. Should an applicant not be successful in obtaining their preferred location, their name will be entered into the lottery for their second-choice location and so on. All public location lotteries are conducted annually with no right of renewal for existing vendors.

If there are fewer applications than pre-selected locations and all applications received after the deadline will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Any attempts to transfer or convey lottery positions between vendors will result in the disqualification of both parties.

**New for 2023 - Special Event Locations

In addition to applying for your preferred public property locations, the Town is seeking vendors to participate in special event vending opportunties for several events taking place at the Shipyards Amphitheatre over the summer. Please see the dates and times of the events below. There is no additional fee to participate; however, a fully refundable deposit of $50.00 per event will be required to secure your spot. Participation is limited - a lottery system will be employed should more than three vendors share selected dates. Food exclusivity will be respected and limited power is available onsite.
