The public library serves the residents of Collingwood, schools, daycares, nursing homes, institutional members and visitors.
Yes, we do! Computer access is available to the public for free. Membership is not required to access service. Printing is available for 15¢ per page. The Library also offers free wireless service to anyone with a Collingwood Public Library membership card. Visitors can also use wireless Internet service, but will need to go to the main circulation desk to obtain a temporary membership and PIN.
Fax service costs $2.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page. Printing and photocopying costs 15¢ per page.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION FOR RESIDENTS and NON-RESIDENT TAXPAYERS
Residents of the Town of Collingwood are entitled to full membership at the Collingwood Public Library. If you own a property within the Town of Collingwood but reside elsewhere you are also entitled to full membership. To establish your membership, please present valid personal I.D. and identification confirming your address within the town boundaries. Non Resident taxpayers need to confirm their principle address also. A driver’s license or bill (i.e. tax, utility) would be appropriate. Please be aware that it may be necessary to confirm property ownership with the Town Municipal office. All family members are entitled to their own membership. Children and young adults between the ages of 2 and 15 inclusive must have their membership co-signed by a parent/guardian. Members of the Library may have up to 25 items out on their record at one time.Preschool members (children under 5 years of age) may have 10 items out on their record at one time.
GREY HIGHLAND RESIDENTS
Your non resident fee will be paid by the municipality of Grey Highlands provided you are resident in the north-east area of the municipality. Contact Flesherton Public Library to obtain your Grey Highlands Borrower card.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
Visitors to Collingwood may establish a visitor’s membership. To establish your membership, please present identification confirming your home address. You will also need to provide details of your temporary address while in the Collingwood area. The fee is $15. Memberships are secured with a Visa or MasterCard credit card, or $50.00 deposit., and is valid for one month from the date of purchase. Visitors may have up to 25 items out on their record at one time. Wireless access is included with the purchase of your membership.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION FOR NON-RESIDENTS
The Collingwood Public Library offers household memberships to residents in municipalities outside Town boundaries. A non-resident membership is valid for one year and must be renewed on the anniversary of the initial registration date. The annual membership is $120 per year. Payment may be made in full or installments. Five additional cards are available for family members with the membership held in the name of the primary cardholder. Non-resident memberships may have up to 40 items out on their record at one time.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION FOR NON RESIDENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
High School students living outside Collingwood, but attending Jean Vanier High School or Collingwood Collegiate Institute qualify as Non-Resident Students. Non-Resident High School students may have 10 itemsout on their record at one time. This membership is for the exclusive use of the card holder.
