Town Of Collingwood Mandatory Vaccination Policy - New Employees - Updated December 16, 2021

The Town of Collingwood is c​​ommitted to providing a safe working environment for our employees and members of the public with whom we interact regularly and as such the Town Of Collingwood has recently implemented a Mandatory Vaccination Policy. This policy aims to to help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and is in line with public health guidance and supports the direction that getting both doses of the vaccine provides a high level of protection against COVID-19 and related variants. As a condition of hire, all new Employees, must be Fully Vaccinated prior to starting employment with the Town and will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 at least five (5) business days prior to their start date. Failure to meet this
requirement may result in the immediate revocation of any offer of employment. Exemptions will be made in accordance with the Town’s policies for grounds protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code.
