Central Park Outdoor Rink Opens with New Online Booking

Just in time for the holidays, the ice surface at Central Park’s Outdoor Rink is ready to welcome skaters.

Friday, December 23, 2022, is the Outdoor Rink’s opening day, with operating hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for Open Skate. Registration is not required, and the rink is free to access. 

New for the 2022/23 operating season, the Central Park Outdoor Rink will have advance booking online for all programs except open skate, which does not require pre-registration. To book online, create an account or log in to the Town’s recreation and programming platform, Perfect Mind.

Holiday Hours of Operation for Central Park Outdoor Rink are as follows: 

• Friday, December 23 & Saturday, December 24, 2022: Open Skate 9:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday, December 25 & Monday, December 26, 2022: Closed
• Tuesday, December 27 – Friday, December 30, 2022: Regularly scheduled programming, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Saturday, December 31, 2022: Regularly scheduled programming, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday, January 1, 2023: Closed 
• Monday, January 2, 2023, onward: Regularly scheduled programming

Operations at the Central Park Outdoor Rink are pending weather and conditions. Any interruptions to the scheduled programming will be posted on the Town’s website and social media channels.
