HOT TOPIC 1:
FACE COVERINGS MANDATORY IN PUBLIC SPACES AS OF JULY 13

In Collingwood, guidance related to health related safety measures for re-opening and operating your business safely comes from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU).  Today, they announced that as of Monday, July 13, 2020, when you enter into a public indoor space a (e.g. grocery store, community centre, shopping mall, hair salon, library, place of worship, etc.), or use a public transit service in Simcoe Muskoka, you will be required to wear a face covering.

A face covering means a medical or non-medical mask or other face covering such as a bandana or scarf that covers the mouth and nose.

Digital Transformation Grants are now open! Apply for a grant of up to $2,500

Digital Main Street is a program focused on assisting main street small businesses with their adoption of technologies. Through a partnership with FedDev Ontario and the Province of Ontario, grant opportunities are available to enable this digital transformation process. The Digital Transformation Grant program will provide funding for training, advisory support, and contributions to main street small businesses looking increase their capacity through digital transformation.
