Hydrant Snow

The Town of Collingwood would like to remind its residents to help keep hydrants clear of ice and snow.

In case of an emergency, every second matters and you can help by keeping the area around hydrants clear and easy to access (about a 1 metre radius around the hydrant).

Keep in mind that the Town of Collingwood has received a substantial amount of snow recently and while the Town makes every effort to keep the hydrants clear, it’s important that residents that occupy property near a hydrant help to keep them clear as well.

Thank you for your help in this matter and please consider helping out your neighbour if they need assistance to keep their fire hydrant clear.

Please contact Environmental Services 705-445-1581 or email us at water@collingwood.ca if you have any questions.
