The new Town of Collingwood municipal website has once again been internationally recognized, this time as a 2020 Gold Winner at the AVA Digital Awards.
A Public Information Centre (PIC) has been scheduled to provide an opportunity for all interested parties to review the alternatives developed for the WTP expansion and to discuss the project with the study team. The PIC has been scheduled for Tuesday March 24, 2020, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Collingwood Public Library, Community Rooms B & C (55 Ste. Marie St, Collingwood, ON L9Y 0W6)

Please take notice that Niagara Street will be closed at Huron Street/Highway 26 on Tuesday, March 10 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for emergency road paving due to watermain break. Access for local traffic to Niagara Street will be via St. Lawrence Street.

Please take notice that Heritage Drive, from the Boat Launch Parking Lot to Millennium Park, is closed until further notice due to water on the road caused by snow melt and potential rain. The Town will continue to assess the road and pump out water. Trails remain open up to the Terminals but there are sink holes further into Millennium Park and barricades are in place.
The Town of Collingwood’s Sidelaunch Days Festival, returning to the Collingwood Harbour on August 8 and 9, was recently recognized as a 2020 Top 100 Festivals & Events in Ontario by Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO).
Spring Swim Lesson Registration day is Tuesday, March 10. Registration opens: Online at 6:30 AM, In-Person at 8:30 AM, Phone registrations will not be accepted on March 10. You may call the Parks, Recreation, and Culture office beginning Wednesday, March 11 to register over the phone.
While the risk of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) is currently low for our area and there are no confirmed cases here, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is planning for the potential arrival of widespread community transmission of the virus, and is urging the community to prepare as well.
