Coming to the Simcoe Street Theatre for the first time, INDIGENOUS 150+ is a film and conversation series dedicated to putting Indigenous voices centre stage. Now in its’ third season, Indigenous 150+ was started as a response to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action. On Wednesday, November 27, starting at 7:00 PM, INDIGENOUS 150+ will screen two episodes from the acclaimed series FUTURE HISTORY, a television series that celebrates the reclamation of Indigenous knowledge and shines a light on individuals around Ontario and elsewhere who are shifting colonial narratives and leading the reclamation of Indigenous knowledge systems, language, and identity.
Regular Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of every month in Council Chambers, Town Hall located at 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood at 5:00 PM unless otherwise posted.
Please take notice that the Pine Street Parking Lot (Lot A) will be closed from 10:00 PM on Thursday, November 14 until 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 16 for the Ho Ho Holiday 5KM and Beer garden set up. Pine Street from Second to Third Streets and Third/Ontario Street from Pine Street to Huron Street will be closed Saturday, November 16 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM for the start of the run.
Please take notice that there will be a temporary road closure on Ste. Marie Street from Huron Street to Hume Street, Hume Street from Ste. Marie Street to Hurontario Street, Hurontario Street from Hume Street to Huron Street, and one lane of Huron Street from Hurontario Street to Ste.Marie Street on Saturday, November 16 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM for the Santa Claus Parade and Tree lighting ceremony.

On November 20, the Collingwood Museum invites you to an informal evening devoted to one of Collingwood’s internationally renowned businesses - Blue Mountain Pottery (BMP).
Local collector Jasmine MacLellan will be onsite from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM to answer questions about her personal collection which is presently on display at the Collingwood Museum. MacLellan’s collection features traditional pieces as well as some rarities, including a BMP Pet Shop window display.
TAKE NOTICE that on the 28th day of October, 2019 the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Collingwood passed By-law No. 2019-070 pursuant to Section 17 and Section 21 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P . 13, as amended. By-law No. 2019-070 is a by-law to adopt Official Plan Amendment No. 43 which makes changes to the Town of Collingwood Official Plan (2004).

Amending Zoning By-law No. 2019-071 pertains to lands legally described as Part Lot 41, Concession 7 and Part 1 on Reference Plan 51R-33507, Town of Collingwood, County of Simcoe, and municipally addressed as 360 Raglan Street.
