NOTICE - Safety Improvements on Heritage Drive

Please take notice that safety improvements are underway on Heritage Drive.

Council, residents, and visitors alike have expressed a desire for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for using Heritage Drive to access the Millennium Park, the Towns Boat Launch facilities, and waterfront features.

To improve safety for users (motorists, pedestrians, and amenity users), the new look for Heritage Drive includes line painting and strategically placed, removable speed bumps in the area of the boat launch and parking areas. The trail system along Heritage Drive, previously destroyed from spring storms and wave action, has been partially restored. Continual efforts are being made to see this to completion.
