Take the 30 Day Biking Challenge in Collingwood
The Collingwood Climate Action Team (CCAT) is inviting all Collingwood residents to participate in the 30 Days of Biking Challenge, a pledge to ride your bike every day in April. CCAT is a group of local residents who have come together to take action on local healthy-planet issues and initiatives. Their mission is to work with local communities to reduce our carbon footprint. This April, CCAT invites you to pledge to reduce our carbon footprint for the planet and our community by participating in the first annual ‘30 Days of Biking’ in Collingwood.
The Town’s Greener Collingwood corporate group invites you to accept this challenge and ride your bicycle every day in April. Any distance, destination, reason, and location – and, yes, that includes indoor riding too! Pledge to ride for the community, ride to stay healthy, or ride to make every day a better day. Invite your family members and your friends to pledge with you. If you miss a day, don’t feel bad; just pick up where you left off or go for some bonus rides throughout the rest of April.
CCAT invites you to take some fun photos of where you ride, inside or out, on the road, or anywhere else. Share the images with your friends, tag #30DaysCollingwood and @collingwoodclimateaction or email CCAT at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Support your local bike store by booking a spring bicycle tune-up.
To join the challenge, register via the link below. CCAT will provide free bike light sets for the first 100 people to sign up.
