Town of Collingwood Hosting Crossing Guard Open House

Opportunity for potential applicants to learn about Crossing Guard positions available with the Town

The Town of Collingwood is currently seeking Part-time and Casual Crossing Guards and will be hosting an Open House on Friday, August 30 to share information on all that is involved with these opportunities.

Crossing Guard Open House

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Town Hall (97 Hurontario Street)

This Open House is also an opportunity for interested applicants to submit their cover letter and resume. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Crossing Guards are responsible to ensure the safe crossing of students and pedestrians as they go to and from school at school crossings, marked crosswalks, or traffic lights on a daily basis.

If you are looking for a part-time or casual position working outdoors, within the community, with the summer off, please join us at the Crossing Guard Open House to learn more. The starting rate for our Crossing Guard positions is $16.17 per hour, with the potential to earn extra money through the attendance bonus program.
