The October 2020 Economic Recovery Metrics Dashboard is here!
On June 15 2020, Town of Collingwood Council approved the recommendation developed by the 14-person COVID-19 Collingwood Economic Support & Recovery Taskforce. This Task Force of private and public sector leaders worked tirelessly with Town Staff to develop Six Item Action Plan within eight weeks.
The Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA) is recruiting members for the following BIA Advisory Committees:
- Improvement: Governance, Future Planning & Finance
- Beautification: Décor (Seasonal), Signage (BIA) and Garden design
- Maintenance: Safety, Garden maintenance, and Cleanliness/Garbage
- Promotion: Membership Engagement, Marketing, and Even

Regional Business Development Centre Receives $75,000 Digital Main Street Grant
Collingwood, ON [Tuesday, September 22, 2020] - The Town of Collingwood and the South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre have received a $75,000 grant from Digital Main Street Ontario, funded by FedDev Ontario. This grant will extend their Digital Service Squads (DSS) to help small businesses use digital technologies to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
As Collingwood enters the third week of the inaugural Patiolicious culinary celebration, a new twist just got added with the launch of the Patiolicious Instagram contest. Collingwood Patiolicious just keeps getting better with the Instagram contest...featuring a $200 gift card grand prize AND weekly prizes! The Town of Collingwood is adding an app-based parking payment option to paid parking in Downtown Collingwood beginning on Friday, September 4. Parking passes, pay and display, and coin operated payment methods will continue to be available in Downtown Collingwood. This app-based, online-based payment option will enhance the user experience and reduce interactions and touchpoints through the pandemic. Downtown Parking Fees have not changed.

Introducing Collingwood Patiolicious - a fresh new way of experiencing the taste of Collingwood's culinary experts and the creative approach they have taken to their expanded patios. Located on back lots, hidden gardens, main street parking spaces, and other undiscovered areas, these new patios also reflect the artistic creativity that abounds around South Georgian Bay.
