Notice - Procedural By-law Amendments

Please take notice that amendments to Procedural By-law No. 2019-075 are being brought forward for Council’s consideration. The earliest date the proposed revisions to the Procedural By-law will be considered is during the Council meeting scheduled for June 21, 2021. If the matter is considered at subsequent Council meetings, no additional notice will be given unless Council directs otherwise. The purpose of the amendments to the Procedural By-law are to implement the recommended changes posed by Councillor Bob Madigan in his notice of motion provided at the June 11, 2021 Special meeting of Council which include: changes to the deadline for requests for clarification, and implementing a deadline for providing a notice of motion wherein a member intends that notice be waived prior to consideration.
