New signs have been installed on the Trails with a key COVID-19 safety warning: 

  • Please keep physical distancing. 
  • Physical distancing means keeping at least 2 metres apart from ALL others.
  • You can still wave, make eye contact, and say hello as you walk by.

Collingwood’s Poet Laureate, Day Merrill, is looking to provide some poetic nourishment for the community with a project called 30 Loaves - Bread for the Journey. In recognition of National Poetry Month this April, Day will be posting a poem a day throughout the month on CollingWord.ca, a section of the Town’s website dedicated to poetry and spoken word. The project titled 30 Loaves - Bread for the Journey started off with a poem by Day and continues daily with other poems by Canadian poets.
