Please take notice that boat launches in Collingwood remain closed to transient boaters until further notice from the Province of Ontario. The Collingwood boat launches are closed under the Province's Emergency Order to close Outdoor Recreational Amenities. On Tuesday, May 19, the Town of Collingwood will begin allowing marina tenants and seasonal boaters (with valid permit) to load in their vessel and tie to their assigned dock or slip. This will be by appointment only to ensure physical distancing and safety. Boat use in the marina and at the boat launch beyond load-in by appointment, is prohibited until further notice.
On Tuesday, May 12, join the Town of Collingwood and the Province of Ontario in a Day of Action on Litter, kicking off a Spring and Summer where we all become more aware of the impacts of waste on our environment, take action to prevent, reduce, and divert waste at home, and continue to keep Collingwood clean and beautiful for current residents and future generations.

A Real Property Report (Survey) is the source for property information and it is in everyone's best interest to contact an Ontario Land Surveyor, AOLS, to answer questions regarding property boundaries, title information, existing survey plans, site features and condition (current and historical), historical knowledge of a particular area.
Ontario Land Surveyors have the training, knowledge, and ability to research this information to give unbiased opinions regarding boundary information (source AOLS letter dated October 30, 2023).
The Town of Collingwood is not a depository for property information. Ontario Land Registry onland.ca may or may not have pertinent document information.
Since many facilities have shut their doors over the last few weeks and have been mostly vacant, we are reminding you to get your water running! We are encouraging residents and business owners to follow the guidelines provided in the checklist only if no one has been using the water for at least 3 to 4 days. What this does is flush your internal plumbing system, as the water has sat in your pipes for longer than normal. Similar to how the Water Department flushes hydrants to clean out water mains, now is the time for you to flush your own system.
The Town of Collingwood, with recommendation from Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, is asking you to stay at your chosen primary residence and also not to make day-trips or to visit cottages in Collingwood at this time. Collingwood is eager for re-opening and recovery, and in order to get to the end of this pandemic, we all must continue to stay at home and limit travel. The Town is excited to welcome you to Collingwood again with many great getaway options, after the Province’s State of Emergency orders have lifted and when it is safe to travel. It will be worth the wait!
