Please take notice of the updated schedule for the Centennial Aquatic Centre.

  • Tuesday, February 11 - Strike Swim from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM
  • Friday, February 14 - Centennial Aquatic Centre will be closed to the public from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Monday, February 17 - Family Day Holiday Schedule in effect.
Snowmobile OPP
OPP UPDATE: Snowmobile Patrols in the Collingwood Area

Officers conducted RIDE initiatives on several trails in Collingwood and The Blue Mountains ensuring that those out on their sleds were sober and licenced to operate their snowmobiles as well as having valid insurance and registration. During those patrols officers issued five speeding tickets, one of which was for speeding at 80 km/h in a posted 20 km/h zone on a shared trail utilized by hikers and some walking their dogs and with residences in close proximity.

Strike Shinny Available This Week

At the Central Park Arena, there will be Strike Shinny Hockey for Elementary School aged kids on Tuesday, February 11 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Admission for Shinny is $5 per person and full equipment is required.

Awen Water Play
Awen' Waterplay Area

With the research, consultation, and design aspects now complete, the Town is looking forward to moving onto construction of the Awen' Waterplay. Effectively this has two projects occurring at the same time: site servicing, which includes bringing water, wastewater, electrical, from the area of Cedar and Oak Streets, PLUS, establishing grading, earthworks, and water play and collection spaces, constructing the water play infrastructure, installing a control room, washrooms, an outdoor change room, and an outdoor seating space.
