Recreational trails are not maintained in the winter except the trails within Harbourview Park and the Georgian Trail.  These trails are groomed when there is adequate snow to pack down (not plowed or sanded).

This presentation was based on a study by a consultant that had been initiated earlier in the year by the Centre for Business and Economic Development (CBED) in partnership with the Town of Collingwood and with funding from Rappid.Design and Simcoe County.

The Town of Collingwood is undertaking to update its Municipal Alcohol Policy (MAP) and is welcoming community feedback on the proposed changes. 

In 2019, the Government of Ontario announced regulatory changes that impact the sale, service, and consumption of alcohol. In response to these changes, and in accordance with current municipal practices and recommendations from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, the Town of Collingwood has proposed a series of updates to its existing MAP.
