Starting as a Family Literacy Day initiative, the Family Literacy Story Map identifies areas and activities in the Collingwood community where you can engage in literacy.
Please be advised that on the morning of Tuesday, January 28, the Town of Collingwood’s Water Department will be performing maintenance on the Davey Reservoir. The residents on a number of Town streets could experience lower water pressure during this time.
In the Town of Collingwood, snowmobiles are permitted on specific identified trails expressly for the purpose of accessing Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trails out of town under Bylaw 2015-095. Trails not identified for snowmobile use under the Bylaw are prohibited from use by snowmobile drivers. The OPP will enforce the Town Bylaw with substantial fines for offenders.
The Town of Collingwood would like to remind its residents to help keep hydrants clear of ice and snow. In case of an emergency, every second matters and you can help by keeping the area around hydrants clear and easy to access (about a 1 metre radius around the hydrant).
Regular Council meetings are held on the third and fourth Monday of every month in Council Chambers, Town Hall located at 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood at 5:00 PM unless otherwise posted.

Winter happens in Collingwood and embracing it is a Collingwood art form. Join friends and family at Central from Friday, January 24 to Sunday, January 26 when Collingwood turns into a snowy canvas for creativity, activity and connectivity. Central Park and the Collingwood Trails Network play host to daytime fun and nighttime magic including professional snow carving, children’s games, snowshoe treks, Rock the Rink moonlit skate, and Watchful Eyes flashlight-powered scavenger hunt.
The Town of Collingwood is inviting artists and artist collectives to submit their application for the design and execution of a site-specific, outdoor mural for the east facing wall of the Shipyards Medical Building at 28 Huron Street. A volunteer Public Art Committee of Collingwood residents established the process and concept for the artwork based on the Town’s public art policies and procedures. They are looking for the artwork to create excitement and interest in the community, enhance the space, and reflect a contemporary aesthetic of a vibrant and dynamic Collingwood.
