Be The Change Film Series - a land shaped by women

Be The Change (BTC) Film Series continues Season 15 on Wednesday February 22nd at 7pm at the Simcoe Street Theatre in Collingwood screening the award-winning documentary film, “a land shaped by women” by Anne-Flore Marxer.

Anyone who likes snow movies will love this film! World champion snowboarders Anne-Flore Marxer and Aline Bock explore Iceland in a van and have an amazing adventure splitting, snowboarding and surfing.
They started on this adventure after learning that Iceland had been ranked first in gender equality by the U.N. nine years in a row.

Anne-Flore became a passionate advocate for gender equality in snowboarding.
In “a land shaped by women” she introduces viewers to the history of the Icelandic women’s movement and between rides she shares her conversations with the iconic Icelandic women they met along the way.
