Registration for Fire Prevention Week Storytime & Firefighter Activities

This year’s Fire Prevention Week theme is “Smoke alarms: Make them work for you!” to educate everyone about the importance of having working smoke alarms in the home. 

What: Bring your kid(s) for a fire safety talk and story time with Sprinkles the Fire Dog & participate in firefighter activities including spraying the hose, sitting in the fire trucks, and watching the firefighters dress in their bunker gear. Also, take a colouring page home for your kids to colour and submit by Tuesday, October 15th to cfdpubed@collingwood.ca to win a prize! 

Who: Kids with a minimum of 3 years of age (Max. 24 kids. Registration required) 

Why: To teach kids the importance of fire safety and to not be afraid of firefighters by participating in activities with the crew. 

When: Friday, October 11, 2024, 3:00 p.m. (approx.1 hour) 

Where: Collingwood Fire Department, 45 High Street, Collingwood
