The Municipal Law Enforcement service, led by the By-law Services Division, is responsible for enforcing Town by-laws on behalf of various Town Departments and Divisions, including Building, Fire, Growth and Development (formerly Engineering), Parks, Planning, and Public Works. The By-law Services Division oversees compliance with a wide range of by-laws and regulations related to, among other things, pool enclosures, land use, sign regulations, fire routes, snow removal, road occupancy, and the use of parks and facilities.
