Studio 79 welcomes The Honeyrunners to light up the studio stage this July.



A northern take on Southern Soul – hot-blooded and rife with the poetry of heartache. The energy of this Toronto indie band is undeniable on stage and on record.

The boys are back in studio this Summer with a batch of tunes that will cut through the noise of 2024 like a hot knife.

National Folk Award nominated Canadian Singer-Songwriter and Record Maker, Jim Bryson, will be gracing our up close and intimate studio stage in June and we can't wait.

Jim’s 2000 Debut “The Occasionals” was recently (May 2022) named a Top 10 record of the 2000’s by Americana UK! In Jim’s former lives, he traveled extensively as a side player for artists such as Kathleen Edwards, The Weakerthans and The Tragically Hip.

Studio 79 is thrilled to welcome back Harry Manx for another captivating performance in our up close & intimate live music space this summer.

“Mysticssippi” blues man Harry Manx has been called an “essential link” between the music of East and West, creating musical short stories that wed the tradition of the Blues with the depth of classical Indian ragas. He has created a unique sound that is hard to forget and deliciously addictive to listen to.

Barney Bentall is back at the studio with the Devin Cuddy Band (Trio) for an exclusive, talent packed performance this summer.



Barney has put out 16 records. A Combination of solo works, albums with his band The Legendary Hearts, two with Bentall, Taylor and Ulrich (BTU) and two with The High Bar Gang (a bluegrass band of friends that garnered 2 Juno nominations).



40 guests will be treated to this up close & intimate live music performance & artist interaction.
