Diamond Teachers Group is hosting a free online Halloween Themed Math Workshop for students in Grades 4–7 across Canada.

It’s happening Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 7:30–8:30 PM EST.

The L.E. Shore Library, Craigleith Heritage Depot, and the Gallery at L.E. Shore are proud to welcome author Kathryn Magee Labelle and artist Catherine Tàmmaro in celebration of the book Daughters of Aatenstic: Life Lessons from Seven Generations.

Kathryn Labelle’s book Daughters of Aataentsic shares the powerful life stories of seven Wendat/waⁿdat women across seven generations. Spanning centuries and borders—from Ontario and Quebec to Kansas and Oklahoma—the book highlights how these women preserved culture, resisted colonialism, and shaped their communities.
