Emergency Preparedness

Emergencies can happen at any time, and being informed and ready can help reduce their impact. Emergency Preparedness Week is an annual, national initiative that is held the first full week of May designed to encourage Canadians to learn how to prepare for emergencies and take simple steps to keep themselves, their families, and their communities safe.
Like any municipality, Collingwood can be affected by emergencies such as severe storms, floods, fires, chemical spills, or other unexpected events.
