Collingwood Community Clean Up Days

Be a part of Community Clean-up Days and lend your support to building a litter less community. Community Clean-up Days begins on Earth Day, April 22 and runs until the Provincial Day of Action on Litter, May 14.

Whether you are out for a walk on the trails or spending time in a local park, consider joining this year’s efforts to help keep Collingwood litter free.

Residents can pick up garbage bags and gloves from the Collingwood Public Library, 55 Ste Marie Street or at Town Hall, 97 Hurontario Street during regular business hours beginning Monday, April 22nd.

When you are finished your garbage pick-up you can leave the bags collected in or beside a green Town of Collingwood garbage bin and Town staff will collect.

Your safety is important, please take the necessary precautions and review the safety tips listed at www.collingwood.ca/communitycleanup.

Consider creating a team clean-up at work or as part of a community group/organization. Thank you for the early support from EPCOR, Crozier: Consulting Engineers, Parkbridge and the Collingwood Clippers Swim Club. Are you up for the challenge? Town staff will provide garbage bags, gloves and arrange for pick-up, reach out to Jennifer Parker at jparker@collingwood.ca.

We all play an important role in protecting our environment.
