As part of its spring maintenance, the Town of Collingwood Water Department flushes fire hydrants throughout the Town.
This maintenance ensures the proper operation of fire hydrants. While the water is safe, the flushing could result in cloudy or discoloured water, which will clear up if a cold-water tap is left running for a short time.
