Aquatic Programs

September 10th, 2021 - We opened the Centennial Aquatic Centre on Tuesday, August 3rd with limited public programming.  The Aquatics team at CAC has depleted as team members headed off to their post-secondary education destinations this Fall.  The inability to certify new lifeguards over the past 16 months has left a huge gap in the qualified individuals in our community.  This has created problems with programming the pool in the same manner as we have in the past.  We will not be posting an official schedule on the webpage as it will change daily due to staff availability.  Please sign into PerfectMind to see what public programming opportunities will be available.  Registration remains the same as it has over the past year as the requirement for contact tracing continues through the reopening process.

SWIM LESSONS:  At this time we have not secured enough staff to offer Fall swim lessons.  Once we have a larger aquatics team, registration information will be provided.

VACCINATION PASSPORTS:  Please note that as per the provincial government, proof of vaccination with identification will be required to enter recreation facilities beginning September 22nd, 2021.  This will be required at every visit so please be prepared.

Please continue to visit this website for the most up-to-date information.

Centennial Aquatic Centre is located in Heritage Park at the corners of Third Street and Spruce Street (451 Third Street). **Google Link** It is operated by the Town of Collingwood Parks, Recreation and Culture Department.
