Applicants must meet all of the following eligibility requirements: Collingwood-based, not-for-profit, charitable, or volunteer-based organizations; Supports the community by providing opportunities for all persons to participate in arts, culture, recreation, sport and health and well-being activities. The degree to which applicants meet the requirements below will be weighed to form part of the evaluation: Meets Grant Criteria (see listing on main grant webpage); Financially responsible and in good standing with the Town; Capable of initiating and managing the proposed project; Demonstrates an inclusive and accessible organization that supports diversity and equity, in alignment with the Town of Collingwood Inclusivity Statement: The Town of Collingwood is committed to building an inclusive and accessible environment where all members of the community feel valued, respected, and supported. The CRCG program is committed to using public funds to support initiatives that treat all members of our community with dignity and fairness and in no way limit individual rights and activities.

This includes ensuring programs and services are accessible to all regardless of age, income level, culture, gender, ability. Examples may include but are not limited to: Developing equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) policies or procedures; Delivering EDI staff training; Building diversity within board/committee structures; Communicating to diverse audiences about your programs.
Please indicate specifically if you are applying for a Financial Grant, In-Kind Facility Grant or both.
You may only apply for one Financial Grant and one In-Kind Grant per year.
Unsuccessful applicants for $5,000 will not then be considered for $1,500
The value must not exceed $6,000 and must be greater than $500.
Please provide the start and end time(s) of your Project. If your Project is a recurring program, please provide details.
Examples may include but are not limited to: Project is designed for different abilities and accommodates needs of participants; Information/communication is provided in a variety of formats and to a broad range of networks; Project has been developed considering the knowledge and perspectives of diverse groups; Supports available including childcare, transportation, accommodation, cost to participate; Project accessible by public transport; Staff and volunteers trained on diversity awareness; Different formats/mediums are used to invite feedback; Identify and use Indigenous Land Acknowledgement; Collaborate or partners with various community groups or organizations to increase participation.
