
Take Notice that the Council of the Town of Collingwood, on July 29th, 2024, passed By-law 2024-059, being a By-law to designate 362 Peel Street as having Cultural Heritage Value or Interest under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
And Take Further Notice that any person who objects to this by-law may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) by notifying the OLT and the Clerk of the Town of Collingwood in writing within 30 days after the publication of this notice. The last day to appeal is September 7, 2024. The appeal package must be sent to the OLT and the attention of the Clerk, Town of Collingwood, P.O. Box 157, 97 Hurontario Street, Collingwood, Ontario L9Y 3Z5. The appeal must set out the objections to the by-law and the reasons in support of the objection and be accompanied by the fee required by the Tribunal as prescribed under the Ontario Land Tribunal Act. Description of the Property:
The subject property, known municipally as 362 Peel Street, is located on the west side of Peel Street, north of Bush Street and south of Harben Court, in the east side of the Town of Collingwood. The property consists of a two-storey Georgian style single-detached dwelling with a wood clapboard exterior built sometime between 1870 and 1875, and moved to the subject property in 1960. The legal description of the property is Pt Lt 33 W/S Peel St Pl 370 Collingwood As In RO653326; Collingwood, County of Simcoe.
