The 9th Annual Shipyard Social hosted by the Collingwood Museum will take place once again!
Join us on Saturday, September 6 as the event begins with the "Hardhats on Hurontario" march at 11:30 a.m. Shipyard workers are encouraged to bring along their hardhats if they still have them.
Participants (including community members) can pick up a hardhat from Museum staff between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. beside Town Hall, located at 97 Hurontario Street.
The march will proceed along Simcoe Street to the Collingwood Museum.
A group photograph of former shipyard workers will be taken at the museum at 12:00 p.m.
The day will conclude with a community social from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the museum, featuring food and beverage options for purchase.
