Logan Staats, a Mohawk folk and soul musician from Brantford, Ontario, emerged from a tumultuous youth to win CTV's 'The Launch' in 2018, launching a successful career touring North America and Europe. His music, born from raw talent and personal struggles, intertwines with his advocacy for Indigenous sovereignty. Staats' sophomore album 'A Light In The Attic' (2023) reflects his journey towards healing and reconnecting with Indigenous roots, drawing inspiration from Six Nations' blues and rock legacy. Awarded with Juno and Native American Music Awards, Staats remains rooted in Six Nations while spreading his message of reclamation and healing through his music.
